Use It! Boo Bag

Here is my "Boo Bag" for the Use-It! challenge #25 Boo Bag challenge. This was my second try, and I think it turned out pretty cute. I am still going to finish the first one that I started, and I will post a picture of that one too. Now, how do I pick who gets this cute bag filled with treats?

Sassy Studio Designs Sweet Treats Challenge!

Because my Birthday is also August 11th, and I also LOVE cupcakes!

It's a boy.....or

Some very good friends of mine are having a baby today....or tomorrow. She was due on the 8.02, but it seems that baby is not yet ready. Maybe the baby knows how hot and humid it is right now, and would rather wait until next week. Or just maybe that baby has been waiting to be born on my birthday, which is tomorrow. Well, I have wanted to make a card for them, but they did not find out what they were having. I had been working on yellow cards, but I just didn't love them. So, I made a boy card, and a girl card. Here is the boy card. I guess I forgot to take a picture of the girl card.

Prize box

I told you about the tickets we made for my husbands employees last week. Well, on Friday I made match box, gift boxes for him too. He used them to put gift cards in. Each gift card was for a different amount. When the employee got all four of their puzzle pieces to fill their ticket, they got to pick one of the the gift boxes. I think they turned out cut, but I had a heck of a time with them. These four boxes were after several attempts. Cute, Huh?

Baxter's Book

Last night I wanted to spend a little while with the cricut, but I didn't want to stay up too late. I ended up working on a page in Baxter's scrapbook. I think it turned out really cute.

Now that I am all caught up on my blog posts, I am off to work on a challenge. :)

Whose got the golden ticket?

One night this week I thought it would be fun if Joe played with the critcut with me. I really wanted him to see how it works, and what can be made with it. I didn't want him to wonder what was so great about it. I wanted him to see! I asked him if he needed a cool flyer or anything for work. He said "No". I asked him if he had something in mind that he wanted to make. He said "No". I could tell he was not crazy about the cricut, like I was! Finally he asked me if I could make a ticket. I thought.....a ticket? Great....the one thing I am sure I don't have. lol But then to my own surprise there at the bottom of A Word Party was a ticket. Not only a ticket, but also a ticket with four puzzle pieces inside it. He said he needed five of that one. After cutting all five, we cut out the names of each of his employees, and glued them to the tickets. He said he was going to write a goal on each of the puzzle piece, and the first one to get all four pieces and fill their ticket, on Saturday, would get a gift certificate. Great idea, right? My husband is so cute! Here is how they turned out:
